A wonderful new opportunity for a Director of Emergency has just become available with a leading hospital in Central California. This smaller specialty hospital has 40
bed while offering advanced care and innovative treatment. The Director of Emergency will join a hospital who is an award winning hospital. The small hospital serves the Central California community and treats every person wholly. The Director of Emergency reports directly up to the Chief Nursing Officer while managing a team of 20
FTEs, both staff level and Management. The ED Director, while reporting up to CNO, will oversee the team and hold responsibilities of the department at all times with assistance of the ED Manager. This Emergency Department specifically multiple exam rooms, and an observation room while being open 24/7, 365 days a year. The ED Director will be thoroughly responsible of being sure each medical case is tended to as well as running smoothly. Collaboration with other departments including the Quality team, as well as the Infection Preventionists are mandatory for the Director of Emergency to stay educated on risks within the unit. It is also their responsibility to educate staff members on safety hazards as well as rules and regulations. Quality patient medical care is a top priority for this organization while they treat all patients up to a specific standard of care in all cases. A minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, and 2 years in management in the emergency department is required for consideration of this opportunity. The Director of Emergency will have the opportunity to live in a smaller city that is located near beautiful mountains. With 200

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
